I didn't get a chance to post my menu last week (the day after Christmas) because I was away celebrating the holiday with my extended family. So here are the last two weeks worth of dinners for us, and that wraps up our menus for 2010.
Sunday, December 19 - Shredded Beef Enchiladas, Guacamole, Corn, Tortilla Chips
Burritos were made from leftover roast beef from the previous week.
Monday, December 20 - Ramen Noodles and Hot Dogs
I wasn't feeling well, so this is what Shane threw together for him and Kat.
Tuesday, December 21 - Venison Stew, Salad with Homemade Ranch Dressing, Rolls
I made my Oven Beef Stew with venison and it turned out great, so I decided I'd make it again for my families Christmas meal on 12/26.
Wednesday, December 22 - Leftover Venison Stew, Salad, Rolls
It was a big batch of stew, so there were plenty of leftovers.
Thursday, December 23 - Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Patties
Quick and easy "brinner".
Friday, December 24 - Out for Mongolian Barbecue
We are trying to make a tradition of going out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve.
Saturday, December 25 - Homemade Hummus, Swedish Meatballs, Barbecue Meatballs, White Rotel Dip with Chips, Veggies and Dip
It's our tradition to have appetizers and snacks to munch on all day on Christmas.
Sunday, December 26 - Venison Stew and leftover appetizers from Christmas Day.
We had our noon meal at my parents' house, then snacked on leftovers for supper.
Monday, December 27 - Mexican Hot Pot, Honey-Moist Cornbread, Jell-O with Fruit
This was not really a chili, but similar. Very tasty.
Tuesday, December 28 - Kansas City Steak Soup, Honey-Moist Cornbread, Clementines
My all-time favorite soup!
Wednesday, December 29 - Swedish Meatballs/Barbecue Meatballs, Baked Potatoes, Green Beans
I thought we'd eaten all the leftovers, but I found the meatballs in the spare fridge, so we had to eat them or toss them out.
Thursday, December 30 - Grilled Steaks, Baked Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad
The weather turned off really nice, so we had no choice but to grill some steaks. :)
Friday, December 31 - Taco/Burrito/Quesadilla Bar, Guacamole, Layered Bean Dip, Chips
We had taco/burrito/quesadilla bar at our friends' New Year's Eve Party. I contributed the layered bean dip.
Saturday, January 1, 2011 - Ham Hock Gravy over Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits, Black-Eyed Peas, Mixed Collard and Turnip Greens, Sweet Potato Pie
This -- or a slight variation -- has become our traditional New Year's Day meal.
