I don't think I'm going to be do much of the blog maintenance I mentioned in my last post.
And I wasn't joking about the time warp I'd experience going back to work (temporarily) at my old place of employment. The building houses about 500 workers, but it seems there are no more than a dozen people I remember...and who remember me. However, a lot of names and memories are coming back to me as the week progresses. It's a little strange.
Stranger still is that the computer I'm working on may very well have been there when I left in 1996. Oh, how I wish I was kidding, but I'm not. It's an old 386, with the monitor sitting on top of the processor, which of course, has a single floppy disc drive. The OS is Windows 98, and considering the hardware, I feel almost fortunate to have it. The monitor is so bad it seems to pulsate, no matter how low I adjust the brightness. Yep, it's a high-tech media company at it's best.
The work is easy. Much easier than the work I used to do there. But after plugging data into that antique all day, the last thing I want to do is sit at the computer when I get home.
So the updates and maintenance will have to wait, at least until the weekend.

Happy halloween!
I know the feeling... I'd post a lot more if I didn't sit in front of a computer 10+ hours a day already. =)
Dadguy: You wouldn't think sitting on your butt for 7-8 hours a day would be so tiring, but it is.
