Weekly Menu - 9/23 thru 9/29

Here's our menu for this week's suppers. As usual around here, most of our meals will include cottage cheese and tortilla chips as additional side dishes.

Once: Stuffed Manicotti with Meat Sauce Garlic Toast, Salad, Peaches (all leftover from late last week)

Once: Crunchy Oven-Fried Tilapia, Rice Pilaf, Pan-Fried Zucchini Slices*

Once: Baked Rice & Bean Chimichangas with Cheese Sauce, French Fries, Salad

Twice: Homemade Pepperoni & Green Pepper Pizza, Carrot Sticks with Ranch Dip, Jello with Fruit

Twice: Smoked Sausage in Cajun Cream Sauce over Pasta, Tender Cabbage, Garlic Bread Sticks

*I swear I didn't steal this idea from Heather's menu last week. It's just a strange coincidence; I worked up this menu back in August. :)

Curious, what sauce do you use on your pizza?

Dadguy: It just depends. Sometimes I make up a huge batch of pasta/pizza sauce starting with tomato sauce and adding all kinds of things. Other times I just buy a big can of Ragu brand pizza sauce at the warehouse store. What I don't use right away goes in ziploc bags in 2 cup portions and into the freezer.

I'll post the pizza recipe in a day or two, both the sauce and the crust.
