Our computer is back up and running, finally. There was a small software issue that caused the computer to lock up in the first place, and a lack-of-memory issue that kept it from rebooting after it locked up. Both are fixed now, by an individual just a few blocks away from us, who DIDN'T charge an arm and a leg for his services.
I won't be shopping on Friday -- I may not even leave the house -- so I plan to return to a more regular posting schedule then. Today, I'll be baking pumpkin pies and getting other dishes prepped for Thanksgiving tomorrow.
Although he's not officially laid off, Shane's and his boss finished work early yesterday and won't go back until at least Monday. He would have been rained out today anyway. Little does he know I have plenty of work for him right here at home. The pay is awful, but the benefits are pretty good.

Laid off for a week is just a vacation...for him at least.lol
RE: Black Friday....the only place I'll be going is....Rite-Aid! I don't consider RA anything like going to all those other stores with Black Friday sales. I might go to the grocery store too if I get ambitious and want to attempt to drive across the next town over. I'm thinking the grocery stores will be about the only places without massive crowds.
And yay for fringe benefits....bwwaaahhh

Glad you got fixed! Wonder if he would work on my old laptop? I'm thinking it has a similiar problem.
