I'm trying something new here with weekly menus. I'm a menu planner, but when I've tried to post my weekly menus here in the past, they weren't accurate because I often change things at the last minute.
On the other hand, I really like being able to look back to see what we've eaten, what we loved, what we disliked, and most of all being able to link to the recipes on my menus that have come from other blogs.
So...I'm going to try posting our menus after the fact. Karen at Abundance on a Dime has being doing just that and it seems to work for her. Why not for me? With her permission, I've "stolen" the idea, right down to the name. Thanks, Karen.
Sunday, September 26 - Homemade Chicken Strips (using the Paula Deen recipe), French Fries, Green Beans
Monday, September 27 - Leftover Fried Chicken Strips on a Lettuce Salad, Pineapple Chunks, Crackers
Tuesday, September 28 - Asian Chicken Wraps (with Mushrooms and Cabbage), Onion Rings
Wednesday, September 29 - Chili, Crackers, Pineapple Chunks
Thursday, September 30 - Tater Tot Casserole, Lettuce Salad, Peas and Carrots
Friday, October 1 - Grilled Steak, Baked Potatoes, Cheesy Spaetzle Noodles, Peas and Carrots
Saturday, October 2 - Dinner at our friend John's and Trish's. There was a group of us and we ate chili, crackers, sourdough bread and carrot sticks, then enjoyed s'mores around a campfire. Lots of fun!
