When I mention platform beds, I bet your first thought is "a place to sleep". Well, that's because you're a normal person. I, on the other hand, am reminded of our raised garden beds.
It's no secret that we've been doing a lot of gardening around here. And it's no secret...to me, anyway...that once Shane is in the garden, he usually loses track of time. That's why I've been thinking about getting a sundial for our garden.
Besides looking really cool in the garden, a sundial would give Shane a better idea when he needs to put down the hoes and rakes and head in for dinner. He might even be able to figure out that if it's too dark outside to see the sundial, then it's probably time to call it a day.

McVal: That's probably my least favorite time of day. :( It's busy/stressful for me trying to get Shane in the house for supper (it's always that late in the summer), the kitchen cleaned up, Kat bathed and in bed, etc. I take it it's not that hectic at your house.
Katrina: I used to like staying up late. But I'm old now and can't do that anymore. LOL!

My favorite time of day is anytime that is quiet. During school year it would be after 9:30 when everyone else is in bed, during the summer it's in the morning after hubby leaves and kiddo is still asleep, so around 8-9am.

To comment on your reply to me yesterday, yes of course I still follow you. (You're in my reader--consider this my leaving another comment telling you that.) I know I didn't do very well at reading and commenting here, so what I did recently is I sat down and did some soul searching where blogging is concerned and I cut all of those people in my feed reader that I didn't truly consider my friends. You are a "friend" to me. Now, I don't tell you that because I'm saying you should be honored (I'm not that great LOL) but I tell you that because now I am really focusing on my "friends" blogs.
God, I hope I didn't sound conceited and annoying.

I want to tell you my favorite time of day anyway!
Its right after 8pm, between 8:01 and 8-30 when I am checking that teeth have been brushed and tucking my guys into bed. I have to sneak kisses from Logan, he is "too old" for mommy kisses. I think he just likes the game of me pinning him down to kiss his head. I do it for the giggles LOL.
I love listening to My eight year old tells me the best part of his day story,and how my big and brash ten year old who can do it all with NO HELP! turns back into my little boy at night time, hugging me tight like he did as a toddler and letting me pull the covers to his chin.

My favorite time of day is the wee hours of the night ...2 am to 4 am ...alls quiet and I can read or study. My brain is more active then, always has been. :)
