Weekly Menu - June 7 through June 13

Things really took off in the garden this past week. In addition to radishes and green onions, we are now eating lettuces, collard greens and Swiss Chard.

Here's the dinner plan for the week, to be filled in with whatever's ready from the garden. My blog friend Heidi and I must have similar taste buds. I'll be using a couple of her recipes again this week.

Sunday, 6/7 - Juicy Oven Roast Beef with Potatoes and Carrots

Monday, 6/8 - Steak with Espresso-Bourbon Sauce, Tater and Cheese Strips

Tuesday, 6/9
-
Creole Pork Chops, Steamed Rice

Wednesday, 6/10 - Beef Pot Pie (using leftover roast, potatoes and carrots from Sunday)

Thursday, 6/11 - A variation of Quickest Weeknight Tomato and Basil Pasta, Garlic Toast

I'll be adding Swiss chard for the adults' servings and omitting the tomato chunks for Kat, then adding a modest amount of marinara sauce for all of us.

Friday and Saturday, 6/12 - We're going camping again. I'll be writing about our meals in a separate post.

This Week's Breads:
Dinner Rolls and 1 Small Loaf for slicing, using the Golden Corral Rolls recipe I used last week.

This Week's Desserts: Banana Bread, Chewy Chocolate Chunk Blondies (two desserts; one will go camping with us)
