I guess maybe you had to be here.
It's nothing special, just a fried egg, but the yolk was so nicely centered and the white was almost round and it set up so well as I was cooking it that I just had to get a quick camera shot of it. Rarely does an egg turn out so well for me.
Yes, you're right. I really do need to get a life.

so where is the bacon? Was it nice and crispy and golden brown?
Looks great! Simple pleasures, such as these, are fun to photograph.
I like your blog!

I completely get on this one. I love it when things turn out just right. It only happens to me when I'm not really trying, the more effort I put in the more likely it is to fail.
looks perfect to me. For the first ten years we were married, my hubby did all the egg frying! Then he found out I really could fry an egg... hehehe
You are making me hungry! I am off to make bacon and eggs!
Sharp looking egg, there Miss Annie!!hughugs
This made me laugh...mostly because I'd have probably grabbed my camera, too.
She's a beaut! ;-)

Ah, but this stirs up the age old debate... which came first, the perfect egg picture the perfect chicken picture.
