Spending On Something Fun For A Change

We've been working very hard at reducing debt and keeping our finances well under control, so we decided to spend some money on something fun for change. We decided to take some of the money we got from the dog bite suit and buy a pop-up camper.

We really enjoy camping, but admittedly, tent camping is a bit of work. The pop-up will eliminate some of the work when we set up and break down camp, leaving us more time to enjoy our weekends. Undoubtedly, there will be more camping weekends now, too.

For a pop-up, it's pretty large. It has a king bed, a queen bed, two fold-out twin beds, two dinette tables, sink, indoor/outdoor gas grill and A/C. It has built-in cooler, but we'll be changing that to a dorm-sized fridge soon.

We found it on craigslist (the pics are from the ad). It's used, of course, but it has been maintained well and is in great condition. I'm hoping if we take care of it really well, someday it will grow up to look like this.
