Variety Is The Spice Of Life...And Vice Versa

Planters Seed and Spice Co., Kansas City

In a quest to deny or confirm just how weird I am, I'm conducting a quick, informal poll (at the top of the sidebar).   How many spices, herbs, and seasonings do you have in your pantry?  Just the "dry stuff", none of the marinades or sauces you might have in the fridge.

The poll runs for a week, at which point I'll share the results.  Where do you fall in?

I had to go and count them, there are a LOT of them but I suspect not as many as you:)

There are 4 (16 jar racks) in the kitchen. There are only 6 jars empty and waiting to be filled with a new discovery.

Oh wait - was I supposed to count duplicates? Because I sometimes buy more of something thinking I'm running low... I think I have 3 containers of cayenne pepper up there...
Otherwise I'm probably in the 50 range...

I had to count. lol Without really digging I counted 60 that I could easily see. Most of the ones in the very back are duplicates.

My newest spice (And I bought it from Planters Seed) is jalapeno powder. We love using it!
