VOTE For Your Favorite Recipe and Win This Great Giveaway

General Mills has provided me with information and products for this great giveaway through MyBlogSpark.

*********

Have you tried panko yet?  Those Japanese bread crumbs that make dishes much crispier than regular bread crumbs?

I've used them a couple of times, and loved them, so I was thrilled when MyBlogSpark contacted me about hosting a panko giveaway.  Specifically, I'll be giving away (with the help of General Mills and MyBlogSpark) a box of Progresso Lemon Pepper Panko Bread Crumbs -- AND -- a great hardback copy of Chef Michael Chiarello's book Michael Chiarello's Bottega.

Back in my pre-cable (pre-Food Network) days, I remember watching Michael Chiarello's cooking show on PBS.  Watching it was always one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning.

I had hoped to prepare a dish using these flavored panko crumbs but I'm not sure when I'll get to that.  I didn't want to delay the giveaway, so I decided instead to have all of you visit the Progresso website and take a look at the recipes there.  Then come back to the comments here and VOTE for your favorite dish using Progresso Lemon Pepper Panko.  After all, it is election day and every vote counts...as an entry in this giveaway.

Please leave your email address along with your comment so I can contact you if you win.  Entries will be accepted through 11:59 PM on Monday, November 8, 2010.  A winner will be selected via a random number generator and announced in my post on Tuesday, November 9.

While you're there, don't forget to take advantage of this coupon!  Just click where you see "Save Money".

Good luck to all who enter!

I am all about the seafood and lemon pepper anything goes with it!
The Crab Cakes Chiarello looked darn tasty...it doesn't use the lemon pepper panko but you could sub it out for the reg. panko crumbs.
The Saltimbucco of Zucchini is also making me drool....stop making me look at recipes please.lol

I heart panko....
