It's Official...

Yesterday I caught myself muttering things like, "That's cute, but I have nowhere to put it." and "You've got to be kidding! $1.98 for something I could buy at Wal-Mart for 50¢?"

To no one in particular.

I have become that person we all know and love avoid: the crazy lady who talks to herself in the thrift store.

Don't worry.  I swear I'm completely harmless.

LOL! I'm finding myself doing that when I'm working. Good thing I work from home... If I say things out loud, it tends to make more sense to me and I'm able to figure things out. And yes, I just said this out loud as I typed so it would make sense. Does this make sense?

It's so nice to be in the company of friends. ;)

Yep, been there. ;-) I also thought to myself one morning "what a beautiful full sun" & proceeded to laugh at myself the rest of the drive to work.

I talk to myself all the time, it really does just make more sense.

Although it has come to the point where people will start to offer a few words in response and then say "you're not talking to me, are you?". At least they're all getting used to me little quirks.

You have to admit though, there's nothing that gets you some breathing space in a busy shop quicker than muttering to yourself:) Well apart from the other thing and while we might be slightly mad, we're also ladies and ladies don't do that sort of thing:)

Well I'll proudly say I talk out loud to myself...
All.
The.
Time.

Why?
Well I figure I might as well talk to myself because I will LISTEN to myself whereas when I talk to my kids NOBODY listens!lol

I've been talking to myself out loud for years, which is fine except I also find myself doing it in public places. Apparently there are lots of other "crazy ladies" judging from the comments here. I might be the only crazy guy, though.

WoW! I'm glad to read that someone else is finding thrift store prices high. I say this to myself more and more. What is going on with the thrift stores in our area?

I was at the church's thrift store (next to sonic) Tuesday and it was closed. Are they closed for good, or did I just come on a day they are closed?
