I'm a day late getting my menu up, but that's alright since we have ALL of our camping gear put away. Last time, well, some of it didn't get put away at all and sat in our living room for three weeks. There, I said it. And feel much better getting that off my chest.
I've planned easy meals for this week with the original thought that we might hold a garage sale on Friday and Saturday. Our next available weekend to have one is July 10 and 11 and I think we've decided to wait until then. We've had so much rain lately that July seems more likely for a dry weekend. But more importantly, it gives us more time to get things sorted and priced. So, we've changed our sale plans, but I didn't change the menu. I'm keeping it easy.
We're in our salad days here. Not that we're feeling especially youthful, but that our lettuce patches in the garden are going crazy! We'll be eating a tasty homegrown salad at each of our meals (yes, maybe even for breakfast!) for the next week or so.
Sunday, 6/14 - We had a few leftovers from camping, accompanied by a large green salad.
Monday, 6/15 - Quickest Weeknight Basil & Tomato Pasta, Garlic Toast, Corn, and salad.
I didn't have a chance to make this last week after all.
Tuesday, 6/16 - Ham and Beans, Cornbread, Collard Greens and salad.
Wednesday, 6/17 - Loaded Baked Potatoes and an equally loaded salad.
Thursday, 6/18 - Leftover Ham and Beans, Cornbread, Radish Greens and salad.
Friday, 6/19 - Frozen Pizza, Corn, and a little bit of salad.
Saturday, 6/20 - We usually go out to eat or bring home Sonic after our garage sales, but since we aren't having our sale, I think we'll just have Grilled Cheese and a great big ol' salad.
