We're headed into another busy week here. We're leaving as soon as Shane gets home from work on Friday to head out for a weekend camping trip and a big family picnic on Saturday. Shane's niece is having a birthday party on Thursday evening, so that means we have to have all our gear and supplies, except perishable foods, ready and packed into our van by Wednesday evening. Having fun is a lot of work!
I'll also be working these meals into the schedule.
Sunday, 5/17 - Pork Chops in Onion-Mushroom Gravy, Stuffing (from a box), Corn, Brussels Sprouts
Monday, 5/18 - Curried Red Beans and Rice, Corn, Peas, Kiwi Fruit
Tuesday, 5/19 - Turkey and Noodles (or maybe dumplings), Green Beans, Jell-O with Fruit, Homemade Rolls
Wednesday, 5/20 - Leftovers from Tuesday
Thursday, 5/21 - Tuna Salad Sandwiches, Oven Garlic Fries (followed by cake and ice cream at the b'day party)
Friday, 5/22 - We'll stop for fast food on our way to camp. We've found that when we leave for camping in the evening, it's just too tiring to set up camp and cook a meal, too.
Saturday, 5/23 - Family Picnic with my parents, siblings and all the kids. Shane and I are providing the meats. Everything else is pot luck.
