We paid $1.67 per gallon for gas in Independence, MO, on Saturday afternoon, and saw that price at a few other stations.
Within an hour they all had raised the price back up to $1.71.

We're still @ $2.17...but Denver hit below $2 - I saw it @ $1.79 there this weekend.
Wow! I paid $2.47 the other day here in California, and I thought THAT was cheap!
