I needed new potholders, so I made some using cotton yarn I already had and this crochet pattern.
They're not perfectly square and they don't quite match my kitchen. It doesn't matter anyway, because I keep them in a drawer when I'm not using them.
They gave me something to work on while I watched TV at night (I can't just watch TV, I have to be doing something else at the same time). Three balls of yarn like this made seven of them.

Love the potholders. It makes we wish I wasn't all thumbs when it comes to crochet. I just can't get my head round it.
