We're going camping again this weekend, so I made sure to plan "grillable" food for Friday and Saturday.
We're camping at Wallace State Park, which is one of my favorite parks in Missouri. One of the things I like to do when we camp at Wallace is drive up to Jamesport, Missouri, and its nearby Amish community. I love shopping at their bulk grocery stores and usually get great deals on spices and such. I'm hoping we have time to go again this trip.
Sunday and Tuesday: Italian Sausage with Penne Pasta & Herb Butter, Sauteed Swiss Chard, Garlic Toast (Cole Slaw instead of chard on Tuesday).
Monday: Smoked Sausages, Boiled New Potatoes w/Butter, Onions Au Gratin, Green Beans
Wednesday: Fried Shrimp, Broccoli, Cheesy Turnips, Carrots with Dip
Thursday: Grilled Tuna Melts, Miscellaneous Leftover Veggie Side Dishes from Sun.-Wed.
Friday: Brats and Hot Dogs, Homemade Macaroni Salad, Baked Beans, Fresh Fruit
Saturday: Marinated Grilled Boneless Chicken Thighs, Homemade Macaroni, Corn on the Cob, Fruit

365 Day Clutter Challenge - Days 5 & 6: Saturday I put a couple of belts that no longer fit me into the thrift store donation box. Today I went through Kat's closet and found a few pieces of her outgrown winter clothing for the box, then took it out and put it in the hatchback of the Aspire to drop off next time I drive by the thrift store.

driving up to the Amish stores sounds like fun. I've been wanting to go to the one down around Rich Hill. Have you ever been there?
I haven't been to the community near Rich Hill yet. There is (or was) a small store near Windsor, and sometimes when I visit my parents, we drive to Versailles, where there are a several Amish-owned businesses.
