Weekly Menu - 12/2 thru 12/8

It's hard to stick to meal plans this time of year. For example, yesterday we visited with my parents and also my brother and his family. It was 5:30 before we were on the road for our 60-90 minute trip home, so we stopped on the way for fast food.

My original plan was to make beef tips with noodles. It's been moved to this week's menu instead.

Sunday: Beef Tips with Noodles, Peas, Hominy, Salad, Rolls

Twice:
Homemade Pepperoni and Green Pepper Pizza, Corn, Salad and (possibly) Apple Pie

Twice:
Pork Fajitas with Homemade Salsa and other toppings, Mexican Beans, Salad

Once:
A quick salmon pasta dish using that last small salmon fillet Shane's boss brought home from Alaska and a box of Tuna Helper, Asparagus Stir-fry Veggies, Fried Apples

Saturday:
We're hosting Shane's sis, her husband and their two daughters for an afternoon of food and play. Below is the menu for the party. I'll try to get some of these recipes posted this week, too.

Italian Pretzels
(similar to those Gardetto's mustard pretzels, only Italian)

Soft Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

Southwest Sausage Dip
Salmon Cream Cheese Spread with Crackers
Pineapple Smokies

Cherry Chocolate Trifle

Eggnog Mini-Muffins

Bubbly Cranberry Punch
(some of which may or may not get spiked)

Sheila: Too much fun? What's that mean?
